Know Your Options
Disney World has taken efforts to provide healthier options for people with all different kinds of dietary needs. From lighter substitutes at restaurants to fruit at many snack stands, you’ll find you have more options than you thought. If you don’t see something on the menu for you, just ask.
Skip the Dining Plan
The dining plan at Disney World is convenient for many people and can be a money saver, but Disney Dining plan offers quite a generous amount of food, and it can tempt you to overdo it or you’ll find a lot of food goes to waste.
Some meals at Disney World have generous portions. If you’re not on the dining plan, you can often split meals and snacks with one of your companions. Often you’ll find it is more than enough for two to share.
Walk it Off
With all the walking, swimming and activities at Disney World, you’ll burn up a lot of those extra calories. Keep snacks handy, or stop for a couple of smaller meals per day instead of sitting down for big meals to keep your blood sugar from dropping.
